Quilted Cushion Cover
It's the last day of playgroup tomorrow and I made this cushion cover for my boys' beloved teacher. We will miss her a lot. It was a fun project and I have more of them in the works ..

Dottie Cushion Cover

Hi there. I recently finished this Dottie Cushion Cover from Modern Handmade's tutorial.
What a fun project! The plan was to have an off-white background on both sides, but a lack of available fabrics meant I used the blue and added a blue band over the zipper to tie it all together. I'm delighted with how it turned out.
Stay tuned for a clothing project that I'm working on next :)

I've been working on a lot of small projects lately...
I'm painting another seascape. This one is for my Dad.
Circles on a quilted cushion cover.

A mini quilt for a friend.

A vegetarian lasagna recipe that the whole family devoured. Yum!

Quilted Cushion Cover with piping and zipper

Hi guys! Remember this cushion cover? Well, recently it's been bugging me because the front and back sides don't match. Also, a friend of mine liked the nautical side and wanted me to make her one to remember her time in New England.
So, I pulled it apart, made a matching side and put it back together with a zipper and red piping. I'm so pleased with how it turned out and can't wait to give it to her.
Thanks for reading :)

Cushion Refresh
We recently got a second-hand sofa (this one!) and I wanted to change up a cushion that I was tired of. I pieced and quilted some fabric, then sewed it to the original cover. One side is leftover fabric from this mini quilt, and the other is a bright blue with floral detail. Fun!
